In 2018, Wasantha was guiding yet another group through Sigiriya. They asked, "Is this the real Sri Lanka?" He realized: most tours show tourists what they THINK Sri Lanka is. Not what it actually is.
So we started Pearl Routes with one rule: Only take travelers where we'd take our own families.
